About Us
DailyWear Guide
Everyday women's clothing, chosen for how you actually live
We are an online women's clothing store built around one question: will this piece get worn at least once a week? If the answer is no, we don't sell it.
Who We Are
DailyWear Guide is an online women's clothing store for people who want getting dressed to be the easiest part of their day. We are a small team of buyers, fit specialists and customer-service people who spend our weeks reading fit notes, testing fabrics and answering sizing questions from real customers. We do not chase trends for the sake of a launch calendar. We build a tight, useful wardrobe of pieces that work together, season after season.
Our starting point is simple: most women do not need more clothes — they need clothes that fit properly, feel good against the skin, survive real laundry, and combine without effort. That is the whole brief. Everything else — the styling, the photography, the size charts, the fabric descriptions — exists to make that one experience easier.
Our filter: before anything goes live, we ask whether we would wear it three times in one week. If the answer is no, it does not make the store. A smaller collection you can actually use beats a huge catalogue you have to dig through.
What You'll Find in Our Store
Our collection is organised around the way a week actually looks — work, errands, weekends, travel, and the quiet days in between. Each category is deliberately limited so you can compare options quickly instead of scrolling for an hour.
- Tops and tees — breathable cotton and soft-blend basics in cuts that hold their shape after washing, with necklines that don't stretch out by the third wear.
- Dresses — easy midi and maxi shapes for warm days, plus structured styles that work with a blazer or a cardigan when the temperature drops.
- Denim and trousers — straight, wide and tapered fits tested on different body shapes, with honest measurements listed for rise, inseam and hip.
- Knitwear and layers — cardigans, overshirts and light jackets that add warmth without bulk, designed to fit over the tops you already own.
- Loungewear and home pieces — soft sets and relaxed trousers for working from home, travelling, or doing absolutely nothing.
- Accessories — belts, bags and simple jewellery that finish an outfit without requiring a decision.
New pieces are added in small batches rather than large seasonal drops, and we keep popular basics in stock year-round so you can reorder a favourite instead of hunting for a replacement.
How We Choose What We Sell
Every item in the store passes through five filters before it is listed. They are not glamorous, but they are the reason our customers come back.
1. Fabric first
We start with what the garment is made of, not what it looks like on a hanger. Natural fibres and well-balanced blends are prioritised because they breathe, drape better and last longer. If a fabric pills within a few washes or feels thin in the hand, we pass on it regardless of how good the sample photo looks.
2. Tested on real body types
Fit is checked across a range of heights and shapes, not on a single size-small mannequin. We look at how a garment behaves when you sit down, raise your arms, or carry a bag on your shoulder — the small movements that reveal whether a cut actually works.
3. Laundry-tested
Pieces are washed and dried the way a normal person would wash and dry them, not according to an idealised care ritual. If something shrinks two sizes or loses its colour in the first cycle, it does not go on the site.
4. It has to mix
Before listing, we check that a piece works with at least three items already in the collection. A garment that only looks right with one specific outfit is a costume, not a wardrobe staple.
5. Priced to be repeated
We aim for prices that let you buy the second one without guilt. Good clothing should not be saved for special occasions — it should be the thing you reach for on an ordinary Tuesday.
How Do I Choose the Right Size?
Start with your measurements rather than the size label you normally buy, because sizing varies between brands and sometimes between styles. Every product page lists flat measurements for bust, waist, hip and length, so you can compare against a garment you already own and love.
- Between two sizes? Choose the larger one for woven fabrics with little stretch, and the smaller one for jersey, rib knits or anything described as relaxed or oversized.
- Layering pieces? Size up if you plan to wear a sweater or thick shirt underneath.
- Denim and trousers — check the rise and inseam numbers, not just the waist size. Those two measurements decide how a pair actually sits on you.
- Still unsure? Email us with your usual size, height and the style you are looking at, and we will tell you honestly which one to order — including when the answer is "neither".
We update size charts whenever a fit changes, and we note in the product description when a style runs small, runs long, or has a generous cut. If a fit note looks vague, tell us — we will rewrite it.
How Should I Care for My Clothes So They Last?
Most garments are ruined by habit rather than by age. These four rules keep everyday pieces looking newer for much longer:
- Wash cold, more often than you wash. Cold water protects colour and shape. Many pieces — denim, knitwear, overshirts — simply need airing out rather than a full cycle.
- Turn things inside out. It reduces friction on the surface of the fabric and dramatically slows pilling and fading.
- Skip the dryer when you can. Heat is the main cause of shrinkage and stretched-out necklines. Air-dry knits flat so they keep their shape.
- Store by weight. Fold heavy knits instead of hanging them, and use hangers with a wide shoulder for structured pieces.
Each product page includes a care note specific to that fabric. Follow it and a well-made basic can last several seasons, which is better for your budget and for the planet.
Do You Ship to the US and Europe?
Yes. We ship to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Australia and New Zealand, with a small number of additional destinations added over time. Orders are packed and dispatched within one to two business days, and every parcel includes tracking so you can follow it from our warehouse to your door.
Standard and express options are shown at checkout with the estimated delivery window for your country. Duties and import taxes, where they apply, are calculated at checkout so there are no surprise charges when the parcel arrives. If your country is not listed at checkout, email us and we will tell you whether we can arrange something.
How Do You Handle Returns and Exchanges?
You have 30 days from delivery to return unworn items with the tags still attached. We know that ordering clothing online is a gamble on fit, so the process is deliberately simple: start a return from your order confirmation email, print the label, and drop the parcel off. Exchanges for a different size are free, because a piece that does not fit should not cost you extra.
If something arrives damaged, smells wrong, or does not match the description on the product page, contact us with a photo and we will resolve it — replacement, refund, or return — without making you argue your case. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within five to seven business days of the return arriving at our warehouse.
What Is Your Approach to Sustainability?
We are not going to claim that an online clothing store is a green business. What we can do is buy carefully and sell less. That means smaller production runs, a basic range that stays available for years rather than weeks, and a bias toward fabrics that are durable enough to justify their footprint.
We order in modest quantities so that we are not destroying unsold stock at the end of a season, we package orders in recyclable paper rather than plastic where the destination allows it, and we would rather tell you to keep a piece you already own than sell you a replacement for it.
Who Do We Design For?
Our customers are usually between their mid-twenties and late fifties, though the wardrobe we build does not really care about age. Some are dressing for an office, some for a school run, some for a studio, and some for a combination of all three in the same week. What they share is a preference for clothing that does not require managing — no constant adjusting, no dry-clean-only panic, no outfits that only work standing up.
We design around that reality. Comfortable waistbands that still look sharp. Sleeves that work under a jacket. Colours that combine across the collection so a tired morning does not turn into a styling emergency.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are your products true to size?
Generally yes, and we flag any style that runs small, large or long directly in the product description. Compare the flat measurements on the page with a garment you already own for the most accurate result.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched within one to two business days. Standard delivery typically takes three to seven business days depending on your location, and express options are shown at checkout with a specific estimate.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
If the order has not yet been packed, yes. Email us as soon as possible with your order number and we will update or cancel it before dispatch.
Do you offer plus sizes?
Our core range runs from XS to XXL, and we are gradually extending it. The size chart on each product page lists exactly which sizes are available for that style.
How do I contact you?
Email support@dailywearguide.com. We read and reply to every message, usually within one to two business days. Include your order number for anything related to a purchase.
Our Promise to You
We will describe our clothing honestly — including the parts that aren't flattering in a photograph. We will tell you when a size might not work. We will not inflate a discount to make a price look better. And if something goes wrong with an order, we will fix it without making you chase us for an answer.
That is the entire philosophy behind DailyWear Guide: fewer, better everyday pieces, explained clearly, sold at a price that lets you wear them often. Thank you for being here.
